The first step is done: A letter of application is written!

Ah well, I just wrote my first letter of application today! I'm so proud of myself. I haven't written one for a long time. I know, some of you did that long time ago and for you it might not be a big thing, but yeah, for me it kinda is now, the first step in my career and I did it.

Now I need to write a super CV and then mail it to the bookshop! The job's not a job yet though, it's just an apprenticeship so far. When I finished that after 2 years (hopefully), I'll be a bookseller! Well, during this apprenticeship I am gonna write of course and try to sell my stuff to become a famous writer, as planned, in 5 years! Joking, I don't expect it to happen so soon, actually.

I do have one question to this though. How can I make my blog famous? I really would like to reach a big audience. Or is that too demanding?

Tell me if you know the answer!

PS: I am glad that some of you bookmarked my blog here alredy, I feel really flattered! Thanks

there are a number of articles on ways to increase traffic... and i seem to have bookmarked none of them!!

but i do know that novelr has some great advice on all sorts of topics - mostly to do with online publishing and writing in general and you may find something useful there... i'm sure it was here i saw an article about getting yr site on stumble, but i may be wrong...

then sign up on webfictionguide and go to the forums. many other writers there discuss all sorts of things - from writing to traffic to other stuff (i'm NiSp btw. still kinda low profile there though)...

between those two, you should get a good start :)
